The Senior Software Product Manager (Director level) will lead the direction of our patient recruitment software product suite through needs identification, research, vision-setting and prioritization.

You will partner with key stakeholders, our clients (pharmaceutical, biotechnology and clinical research companies), IT and the Product Team to deliver innovative solutions that have a positive impact to our clients.

You will function as the voice of the customer and serve as the go-to subject matter expert on systems, integrations, processes, and operations required to support our patient recruitment technical needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough user research to gain insights into user needs and challenges and translate them into product features and software requirements.
  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap by collaborating with company leaders, internal teams and the patient recruitment services team.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team(s) to ensure the timely delivery of the product with the committed features.
  • Lead the product release planning, feature backlog management, prioritization, UX designs, and translate features into actionable epics and user stories.
  • Make critical decisions regarding functionality and priorities, always focused on delivering value and maintaining high quality.
  • Define and measure quantifiable metrics to ensure customer satisfaction, engagement, and adoption.
  • Manage timelines for implementation, delivery, and deadlines throughout the development process.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape, trend reports, market statistics, and metrics to enhance our products.
  • Utilize collected feedback, collaborate with internal teams and implement changes accordingly.

A competitive candidate will have a deep understanding of product vision/launch, strong technical experience and a system thinking approach. The role needs an excellent communicator and collaborator to work with cross-functional global teams at all levels within the organization.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous software product management experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 12 years’ experience).
  • In some cases an equivalency, consisting of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong technical background with a clear understand of the underlying technologies, development processes, and industry standards to effectively communicate with engineering teams, assess feasibility, and make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable product strategies and roadmaps
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams and drive collaboration and accountability
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to make informed decisions, prioritize features, and measure product success
  • Proven ability to collaborate with operational teams to gather requirements, define workflows, and deliver products that streamline operations, increase efficiency, and enhance productivity.
  • Ability to prioritize features, set release schedules, and make data-driven decisions to maximize product value and success
  • Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality software products

The salary range estimated for this position is $170,000 – $220,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
