Specialist Director, Value Architect

KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist Director, Value Architect to join our Managed Services practice.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end pricing lifecycle for managed services opportunities, ensuring accurate effort estimations, creative pricing strategies, and effective leadership communication on risk/reward outlook
  • Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders across Sales, Solution Management, and Delivery on each opportunity to populate the Estimating Models and Pricing Models and run all required scenarios to ensure the team is aligned on approach; manage a team of resources both onshore and offshore to ensure accurate estimating and pricing is being completed and internal client satisfaction standards are being met
  • Present each opportunity to leadership for pricing approval and ensure pricing is accurately put into proposal and contract
  • Coordinate with delivery teams to gather actual delivery data to create a benchmarking database to analyze if initial estimating assumptions were accurate
  • Update internal databases with what was purposed, gather market intelligence for win/loss analysis, and coordinate with Delivery, Resource Management, as well as Finance and Accounting teams to provide data from each opportunity pursued
  • Engage with Solution Management and Delivery leads to understand the unique delivery process to develop new Estimating Model tools that document the process, the people, and the technology required
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in finance, accounting, pricing, or consulting, with prior pricing experience at a professional services firm (such as a Big four) or managed service provider is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business, finance, or accounting, with a Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in business administration, finance, or STEM is preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills with experience creating and managing complex financial models; proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications
  • Skilled with Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI; ability to create dashboards leveraging large collections of data
  • Experience mentoring and managing direct reports
  • Familiarity/understanding of professional services specific to Financial Services, Cyber Security Services, Risk Services, Technology Maintenance services
