You will be part of a small but critical function that would lead large commercial outcomes critical to the success of the Global Alternatives business.
What you will be responsible for
As a member of Strategic Client Solutions Engineering team, you will work with solutions lead in understanding the unique challenges faced by our engagement client and drive the translation of these challenges into capabilities statements across the following areas:
– Core Service Capabilities – Translating client requirements into standard service model which leads to scalable base.
– Platform Capabilities – Leveraging State Street Alpha platform capabilities that can serve as an extension of client’s enterprise environment across CRD, CRD for Private Markets and Data Solutions.
– New Strategic Capabilities – Identify new capabilities which can further strengthen our core capabilities through co-creation.
  • Solution Requirements and Scope Development – Serve as a lead to ensure all solution parameters are documented to enable commercial outcomes. This will include pricing and contractual design and acceptance alongside commercial leads.
  • Create program plans inclusive of State Street, client and critical 3rd party tasks.
  • Manage program milestones and dependencies support agreed upon scope and timeline.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasting and resource allocations for the program
  • Establish Project Governance both internally and with the client ensuring all stakeholders are communicated with frequently and appropriately
  • Drive the client, Alpha Implementation managers and critical 3rd parties to execute against their tasks and milestones; drive proper governance and program reporting
  • Drive a high performing culture across the program teams in which people operate to deliver client outcomes with a One State Street mindset.
  • Implement standard change control process, deploy and maintain risk, issue and decision logs
  • Ensure program activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies
  • Build and manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in business, accounting or related fields of studies with more than 15 years of experience in a transformational, consulting or technical roles in alternatives asset classes.
  • Highly independent and can deal with complex situations and manage high levels of uncertainties. You will be part of a small but high impact team driving cutting edge operating model designs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large transformational programs.
  • Project Management qualifications a plus to your success.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets across public and private markets. Understanding of investment management processes, including back office functions. Experience with front-to-back investment servicing and operations functions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of front and middle office technology is an advantage. Charles River, Blackrock Aladdin, Thinkfolio, SimCorp Dimension, Markit EDM, Eagle Pace, etc.
  • Ability to travel across the region as required.
