Swiss Beauty – Financial Controller

  • The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and governance across the organization.
  • This strategic leadership position is responsible for end-to-end financial management, including reporting, compliance, budgeting, internal controls, and risk mitigation.
  • The role demands a strong technical foundation in Indian accounting standards and tax laws, proven leadership in team management, and the ability to partner effectively with business and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance – Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per Indian GAAP and/or Ind AS.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, etc.
  • Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits and ensure timely resolution of audit issues.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting – Lead the company’s annual budgeting and planning process.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and support quarterly forecasting.
  • Monitor actual financial performance against budget and provide actionable insights.
  • Internal Controls and Risk Management.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor strong internal control systems and SOPs.
  • Identify financial and operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Team Leadership – Supervise and mentor the finance and accounts team.
  • Drive team performance through structured reviews, coaching, and upskilling initiatives.
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management – Monitor daily cash flows and working capital requirements.
  • Optimize banking relationships, fund management, and debt servicing.
  • Taxation – Ensure accurate and timely filing of direct and indirect taxes (GST, TDS, Income Tax).
  • Liaise with tax consultants and regulatory authorities for assessments and compliance.
  • Support tax planning initiatives to optimize tax liability.
  • ERP and Financial Systems.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP and accounting systems (, SAP, Oracle, Tally).
  • Ensure data accuracy and system-driven financial reporting.
  • Stakeholder Management – Present financial performance reports to senior leadership and board members.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications – Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) is a must; MBA in Finance is an added advantage.

  • Experience: 8-12 years in finance/accounting roles with at least 3-5 years in a leadership position.

Technical Skills:.

  • Strong understanding of Indian GAAP, Ind AS, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax regulations and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally) and advanced Excel.
