This VP Supply Chain Sourcing will be responsible for all aspects of Supply Chain’s critical strategic sourcing. This position will merge these highly dependent functions under one leadership structure to ensure alignment and efficiency.
The VP Supply Chain Sourcing has the following duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the systematic development, implementation and coordination of the approach and process for the management of all supply/service/equipment contracts/agreements across the system. Create a seamless program for analyzing existing contracts and implementing strategies to reduce costs. Work closely with clinicians and physicians on reducing costs of utilization – building teams and analyzing practices for reducing variation among practitioners. Full accountability for proactive identification of cost saving opportunities across the system.
- Oversee and manage activities of supply chain team (Sr. Directors, Directors, Program Directors, analysts, and Premier staff). Provide direct administration or delegation of all supply chain interactions for staff related to contract negotiation and special projects. Build cross functional teams across THR to appropriately determine output for supply/service/equipment categories. Work with physicians and clinicians in setting standards across all areas. Drive best value for THR whether utilizing GPO strategies (LIDN, S2S, PACER) or local – determine best course of action and commit THR.
- Build and implement technology solutions for the purpose of product and service selection and standardization efforts. Create and maintain standard operating procedures for both cost reduction efforts and affiliate growth and retention.
- Develop customer satisfaction tools to assess program satisfaction as well as success. Design, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures related to product selection and evaluation.
- Monitor program usage and cost savings to assure compliance and maximum cost savings. Deliver approximately $30,000,000 in savings annually.

- Master’s degree required.
- 15 years of experience in the acute care supply chain area.
- Leadership, organization skills, ability to work under pressure, communication skills, problem resolution skills, good customer service attitude, self-starting and working alone for much of the time – traveling from site to site. Ability to create new programs to service the entire acute space.
