Vice President of Operations – Remote | WFH

Title: Vice President of Operations (Hotel/Hospitality Industry)

We are seeking an outstanding Vice President of Operations to join our award-winning hotel ownership, development, and management company. This vital role will oversee the dynamic growth of our expanding hotel portfolio, leading a team of dedicated professionals committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Responsibilities

As the Vice President of Operations, you will strategically guide all aspects of our diverse collection of complex, full-service, lifestyle, and upper-midscale hotels and resorts. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting regional teams and property-based staff to drive best-in-class results across all key performance indicators.
  • Ensuring compliance with brand initiatives and franchise standards.
  • Driving top-line revenue and optimizing performance metrics to maximize owner returns.
  • Developing and overseeing annual budgeting, marketing, and operating plans.
  • Serving as a key point of contact with ownership groups and brand partners.
  • Engaging with local associations and attending industry meetings.
  • Planning and attending monthly ownership financial meetings.
  • Collaborating with the business development team, providing operational expertise for the underwriting process and owner presentations.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A servant leadership mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, with access to an airport and a valid passport.
  • Proven multi-unit experience in hotel operations, working with brands like Hilton, Marriott, IHG, and independent hotels.
  • Expertise in leading select, upper-mid-scale, large, and full-service hotels.
  • Successful track record in opening, transitioning, renovating, and turning over properties.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • An assertive, creative, and diplomatic approach to problem-solving.
  • A supportive, positive, and professional attitude.
  • Self-motivation, organization, and a results-driven mindset.
  • 7-10 years of progressive hotel general management experience, including at least 5 years in full-service operations.
