About the role

The Vice President – Operations Services, Asia  provides strategic leadership on the development of regional operating standards by ensuring that the integrity and optimization of the standard  processes, data and systems are maintained. Manages execution support against key operational requirements, Engineering and Asset Reliability and first level maintenance support for the region. Also manages the provision of support compliance to Field Operations, Operations Training, and driving Operational Discipline through the region.

What you will be doing

  • Develops an appropriate governance framework for the region in support of ensuring a robust operating discipline
  • Coordinates and owns strategy and long-term sustainable plan for achievement of consistent operating standards across the region
  • Aligns the capital program approach with the region’s strategy, improves the delivery of program benefits, develops a suite of engineering solutions which can be tailored in accordance with local needs, and manage the program life cycle.
  • Leads regional asset management setting maintenance strategies, ensuring compliance to maintenance strategies for all assets, and Fixed Asset Register Maintenance
  • Leads Capital management and optimization project delivery
  • Ensures Operational Training Compliance to plan
  • Represents the region in Global Operations Excellence 

Your qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience post professional qualification
  • Advanced knowledge of internal processes and policies, or ability to rapidly acquire same
  • International experience preferred
  • Extensive line management in a variety of roles and environments
  • Well developed mentoring and coaching skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream
  • Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Stakeholder management, including C-level: ability to operate effectively at both the strategic and operational level
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, including prioritization, planning, task delegation, and coordination across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
  • Financial acumen & budgeting experience
  • Able to build structure in ambiguous situations and establish best practices
