The role
You will identify and shape transformational opportunities to build high quality pipeline, whilst executing strategic account plans to pursue and win deals to achieve revenue targets.
You will be highly skilled at cultivating and nurturing trusted relationships across client CxO leaders, decision-makers and key stakeholders, leveraging these connections to enhance sales opportunities and expand market reach. With accountability for leading negotiations and closing high-value deals, you will collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure successful solutioning, working closely with pre-sales and delivery management to represent the full opportunity-to-order Sales life cycle.
This position requires staying updated on industry trends and conditions to identify new business opportunities while also managing overall sales processes, forecasting and sales funnel management (including providing regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management). You will also provide leadership for cross-departmental teams on all contract renewals, negotiations, and client proposals, collaborating with internal stakeholders, other Group OpCos and external partners, to develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that drive profitable sales growth.
What you’ll bring
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Middle East region of shaping, leading and winning large business deals in the Digital Engineering, Quality Engineering, Data Engineering, Embedded Engineering and Technology Modernisation space.
- Experience selling into Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors in Middle East.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and growing businesses profitably.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, both verbal and written and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Proven ability to build trusted and strategic customer relationships.
- Strong commercial skills and experience including new business development, negotiating, selling, process, pricing, costing, discount structures, terms and conditions, sales strategy development, execution, and sales proposal development.
- Experience in authoring complex proposals; experience in negotiating master service contracts and long-term agreements.
- The individual will have strong business acumen to plan business development, business communication skills to be involved in strategic discussions, technical background to facilitate solutions design, operational excellence to execute and work with internal teams, and excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders.
- Moreover, the candidate must be highly collaborative, innovative, customer-centric and bring a structured approach.
- Deep domain knowledge of the Middle East services market, particularly select industry verticals.
- Proven record in structuring complex deals in digital and data engineering space with eco-system partners such as AWS, Google, Microsoft.
- Results-driven, high energy, self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently.
- Understanding of relevant/adjacent digital technologies and competitor’s services.
