Job Description

• Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings in compliance with local regulations and reporting standards.
• Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis, to provide insights and support decision-making by senior management.
• Support the CFO in the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting exercises, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and prepare relevant reports to facilitate budgetary control and decision-making.
• Assist in managing day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL maintenance, and intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting transactions to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and corporate governance standards, supporting internal and external audits as needed.
• Assist in preparing presentations and financial analyses for senior management and external stakeholders, including investors and analysts.
• Collaborate with other departments, including Operations, Sales, and Legal, to provide financial insights and support decision-making on business initiatives and projects.
• Act as a liaison between the finance team and other departments to facilitate communication and alignment on financial matters.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA would be a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance roles, preferably within the retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements in Thailand.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques, with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive attitude, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
