Financial Shared Services (FSS) Platform is responsible for production and reporting activities which are delivered to onshore teams focused on fronting activities. It also provides offshore support to nearshore teams, thus fostering standardization and transformation. It is split into three verticals i.e., APAC Regional FSS, Head Office FSS and World Wide FSS

Position Purpose

This position is for a role for Senior Project Manager to drive and lead major transformation projects ensuring their contribution to the Finance function’s ambitions and strategy.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Drive re-engineering and process improvement initiatives for the ISPL finance teams yielding benefits around efficiency, risk mitigation, digital and technology based solutions
  • Monitor transformation project portfolio and ensure relationship with various stakeholders and partners.
  • Design Target operating Model, Create RACI and conduct risk assessments for migration of respective processes /services from various locations across globe to Finance shared services
  • Individual should have strong understanding of project life cycle and must be able to manage multiple finance projects across globe
  • Must be strong in analyzing problem statements and capable of arriving to a solution
  • Update and document all changes as per Organization procedure and change control framework.
  • Ensure that the quality, service and compliance parameters are reported at required levels.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Technical

  • Strong Project Management knowledge. PMP, Prince2 Certifications preferred.
  • Must be efficient in MS Office, Microsoft Project, Visio and SharePoint
  • Strong understanding of reengineering tools. Lean, Six Sigma – Good to have skills.
  • Knowledge on BI tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau is an added advantage)

Specific Qualifications (if Required)

12+ or more years of experience in project management / business analysis and / or reporting in financial service industry

  • Demonstrated ability to work and research/resolve issues independently while sharing best practices and knowledge with team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills, exceptional relationship building and influencing skills
  • Positive attitude and desire to work in a team-based collaborative environment
  • Former experiences within a Finance function in Banking and Financial Services
