Job Summary:
The VP – Treasury Management Services will play a pivotal role in driving the sale and support of Cash
Management products and services across our Benton County locations. This position encompasses
three key areas: Market Support, Sales, and Customer Support. The individual will be responsible for
guiding our back-office functions to ensure seamless support for these offerings while actively working to
expand our presence in the banking market.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Exhibit a sense of urgency to provide the finest of customer service at all times and in all forms of verbal and written communications.
Treasury Services:
- Keep front-line team members informed on Treasury Services products and services, pricing, and required documentation
- Lead initiatives to enhance commercial banking products and increase market share within the commercial sector.
- Assess client needs and analyze the cost/benefit of Treasury Services offering for existing and prospective clients, assisting Bankers in product pricing negotiations.
- Respond to and assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Continuously monitor the profitability of services offered.
- Provide prompt and professional support to team members regarding Cash Management inquiries and issues.
- Teach market managers and assistant managers treasury services benefits.
Market Growth:
- Coordinate efforts to grow within existing markets and explore opportunities in new market areas.
- Play an integral role in the establishment of new Treasury Management clients.
- Aim to increase market share by 10% in existing markets through targeted marketing and outreach
Efforts.
- Acquire 12 new commercial clients, 24 new small business clients within 12-18 months by leveraging existing relationships and referrals.
- Be an integral part of new branches with regard to new and innovative products, hardware, and technology.
- Provide “Signature-Style Service” in all phone, e-mail, or personal contacts with both internal and external customers.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Analyze software needs and efficiencies of Cash Management and other banking functions.
- Perform all other tasks requested as they relate to the Bank and its functions.

Compliance:
All Team Members are accountable for compliance with all laws, regulations and adherence to established internal controls and procedures when performing their job duties. Each Team Member is expected to be familiar with the legal and regulatory requirements and internal controls affecting his or her job responsibilities. It is the affirmative duty of each Team Member to carry out these responsibilities at all times in a manner that complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and internal controls. All Team Members shall be responsible for communicating upward, problems in operations, noncompliance with the code of conduct, or other policy violations or illegal actions. Team Members must participate in required training on pertinent compliance laws and regulations as required by Signature Bank of Arkansas.
All Team Members will be committed to maintaining a high level of compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering, USA PATRIOT Act and Financial Recordkeeping regulations recognizing that all three acts are important tools in federal efforts to combat organized crime, terrorism and drug trafficking.
Education / Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree required; college degree preferred; banking schools/classes beneficial.
- 5 years previous banking experience with 2 years of experience in Treasury Services/Management experience required.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate courteously and professionally in English (both written and oral) before groups of customers, team members, and management of the Bank.
- Strong computer skills and ability to utilize all necessary software applications including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interact well with customers to include calm and professional reasoning with upset or confused customer.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to recognize opportunities for selling or referring the customer for needed products/services.
- Organizational skills with ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain current knowledge on all financial products.
- Strong financial analysis capability.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, manager,customers, and the general public.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to relay complex processes to customers and team members.
- Sound reasoning, judgment, and problem solving skills.
- Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
