1492 was founded by our directors, Jordan Dudley and Carl Boslem, who believed there was a better way of doing recruitment. Away from the purely performance based KPIs and overcomplicated processes, they wanted a business that would focus purely on matching candidates with their next role. It was as simple as that.

In 2018, they made Leeds City Centre the home to their offices (Wellington Street to be exact) and after a relatively short time we have grown to our small but strong team of individuals. We all have our own unique way of working but with one goal in mind – discovering great people.
