REGIONAL CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Pay Range: $100,000 – $120,000

INTRODUCTION

Behavior Frontiers is seeking a Regional Clinical Director to oversee our applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment programs for clients with autism spectrum disorders in the home, center, school, and community. We are currently expanding our services and are looking for a seasoned clinician with experience in OBM/Operations to join our team. As a Regional Clinical Director, you would be responsible for leading growth and operational metrics, as well as clinical quality, for multiple regions across the organization.

Qualifications

Certification and Experience:

  • BCBA, BCBA-D, or LBA preferred
  • 10-15 years experience in ABA with a consistent career growth trajectory
  • Experience in driving improvement in organizational KPIs
  • Experience starting de novo locations and in overseeing multi-site and/or multi-state regions
  • Experience overseeing both in-home and center-based ABA services

Knowledge And Skills

  • Exceptional clinical knowledge in ABA services for autism, as well as OBM
  • Dedication to company vision and established metrics as evidenced by effectively messaging these goals to team members
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Possess a full understanding of Utilization Rate, Authorization Treatment Intensity, and Supervision Productivity and how those metrics drive clinical excellence
  • Exhibit exceptional proactive, problem-solving skills with minimal financial impact
  • Ability to collaborate and consult across departments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, mission-focused attitude
  • Ability to create high quality clinical and administrative materials (e.g., trainings, forms, policies, procedures, and tracking systems, etc.)
  • Ability to motivate teams, as well as to hold them accountable, when necessary
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Growth mindset and ability to overcome barriers to growth

LOCATION

  • Onsite at our state-of-the-art headquarters in El Segundo, CA (Los Angeles area)
  • Some travel also required

Responsibilities

  • Manage clinical teams, providing supervision, mentorship, and leadership that represents Behavior Frontiers (BFs) core values
  • Oversee adherence to regional Key Performance Indicator (KPI) by Senior Clinical Directors and Clinical Directors
  • Work with executive management team to drive optimal budget performance in assigned regions
  • Review monthly budgets and KPIs to analyze a regions performance
  • Assess assigned regions performance, create an improvement plan, and execute on that plan by monitoring the effectiveness on a regular and consistent basis
  • Demonstrate commitment to client progress by enforcing high utilization of clinically recommended hours
  • Ensure high level of supervisor engagement and productivity in service delivery
  • Ensure that supervisors and directors in regions are maintaining appropriate case load ratios
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement and client growth efforts across the organization
  • Take a proactive approach to problem solving, removing obstacles, and seizing opportunities in pursuit of expanding Behavior Frontiers clinical services to more families
  • Ensure regions are efficiently opening new cases and performing FBAs in a timely manner
  • Maintain positive relationships with contacts at payors and other agencies to promote Behavior Frontiers relationship and articulate Behavior Frontiers mission
  • Oversee implementation of behavior technician retention goals and initiatives
  • Ensure clinical teams are providing high quality care to increase client satisfaction, client outcomes, and client retention
  • Ensure that clients are receiving research-based authorizations and educate stakeholders on how treatment intensity impacts clinical outcomes/performance
  • Provide oversight of clinical and administrative integrity and compliance across regions, such as with BF policies, professional ethics, funding source requirements, certification requirements, and governmental requirements for regions
  • Assist with external and internal audits
  • Create processes, strategies, and plans to support organizational goals and facilitate improvements to clinical and administrative procedures
  • Develop and deliver trainings and CEUS to expand Behavior Frontiers high-quality training program
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
