VP of HR Operations

As Vice President of HR Operations at Deriv, you’ll spearhead HR projects to enhance compensation practices and employee experience to support operational and business growth. Your approach will be instrumental in leveraging HR best practices to contribute significantly to Deriv’s vision.

Your challenges

  • Lead HR operation strategies that support Deriv’s business objectives, including compensation & benefits, payroll management, employee engagement, and mobility, while fostering a culture of perpetual improvement.
  • Review HR policies and processes to ensure efficacy by integrating cutting-edge HR technologies and systems to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management in collaboration with other HR teams.
  • Ensure stringent compliance with employment laws and regulations across all jurisdictions in which Deriv operates, amending policies and practices as required.
  • Maintain a global compensation strategy that attracts, retains, and motivates top talent across our offices globally. Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness in the market and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Supervise global HR teams to achieve uniformity in HR practices, exchange best practices, and synchronise objectives.

What You Have

  • University degree in Human Resources Management or any related field
  • 15+ years of hands-on experience in a similar managerial role
  • Experience working in an organisation with offices spread across the globe
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR data and metrics for decision-making
  • Capability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
