Managing Director-AMEA Region

We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned leader to manage the Business Development and growth within the AMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
  • Builds relationships with customers, distributors, partners, and vendors.
  • Evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t.
  • Manages key client relationships and works to build new ones.
  • Expands the profile and reach of the company and its brands.
  • Leads sales, marketing, and client relationship management teams.
  • Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased business generation and market share.
  • Builds cross-functional expertise within the teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth.
  • Tracks emerging markets and trends.
  • Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.
  • Identifies and recommends new services.
  • Proposes and develops strategic partnerships.
  • Helps to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
  • Researches and identifies new markets.
  • Provides advice on new business development and distribution and promotion strategies.
  • Conducts webinars and presentations to raise the company Brand

Key Qualifications/Skills

  • Extensive experience working with leaders across Value chains.
  • Atleast experience across 2-3 different sectors with close relationships within value chains to understand customer challenges.
  • Working with leaders in MEA region is preferred
  • Leadership, management, and mentoring skills
  • Knowledge of talent landscape in value chains.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • High energy and entrepreneurial drive
  • Willing to travel 50-60% of the time
  • Negotiation skills
  • Interpersonal and customer-service skills

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, MBA a plus
  • 15+ years’ of working within supply chains.
  • 3-5 years’ supervisory or management experience
