Head of Sales Germany – 5G Private Network

Our customer’s mission is to make private 5G networks accessible to businesses of all sizes globally. They empower small and medium-sized enterprises to enhance their current industrial facilities and logistics centers, enabling them to achieve higher efficiency and productivity levels. Over the past three years, our customer’s innovative approach to private 5G has garnered interest from numerous industrial and logistics companies, as well as Value Added Resellers seeking to expand their service offerings with private 5G solutions. Due to further expansion, we are looking for the Head of Sales Germany (m/f/x) – 5 G Private Network Location: Germany – preferably Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Köln As the Head of Sales in Germany, you’re responsible for leading and driving sales engagements. Your focus is to drive strategic deals to closure and accelerate penetration in the market. Working with the Channel Management team, you’re also helping them recruit SIs and VARs to develop indirect sales. While the position is initially a single contributor role, reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, the ambition is to rapidly grow the business and team in Germany. Upon success, this role will become Germany’s Country Head.

Your responsibilities:

  • Position our customer in Germany as a top Private 5G player.
  • Achieve sales objectives.
  • Constantly interact with key stakeholders within customers and partners, understanding their objectives and challenges as well as requirements related to our customer’s offerings.
  • Help identify key channel partners and collaborate with the Channel Management team to develop win-win relationships with them.
  • Coordinate activities to define and deliver relevant solutions to the customers. Drive business aspects of commercial proposals and collaborate with Pre-sales and Product teams on the technical aspects. Provide views on market trends and customers’ expectations to the rest of the organization, contributing to our customer’s successful positioning in the market.
  • Participate in pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
  • Document account plans and customers’ requirements in CRM.
  • Work directly with marketing, collaborating on new campaigns and improving existing ones.
  • Represent the company in trade shows.
  • Stay updated on market trends and product & competitor landscapes.
  • Your qualifications:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience selling high-tech/connectivity or automation solutions to Industrial & Logistics companies.
  • Excellent understanding of industrial/logistics enterprises, the connectivity issues they have, and the challenges they face in their digital transformation. Prior experience selling Private Mobile Networks or wireless solutions to Enterprises is a plus.
  • Consistent record of meeting performance goals.
  • Ability to communicate our solutions to a wide range of decision-makers (including technical and non-technical) within an organization.
  • Eager to learn every day about customers’ needs, use cases, and technology as well as share your learning with the rest of the company.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in English and German.
  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, and/or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications.
  • Fluent in German & English.
